Day 6: sunday

Finally on Sunday I got my Falcon Eyes big tripod and it stood all day at the IVRPA booth with my camera on top. In this particular image you can see how high it is, almost touching the ceiling of the Koeln Messe big hall.

Next to Durst booth on Hall 10 I found this beautiful Cologne view.

Since most of the IVRPA booth images shown here are from the inside, I decided to go out and show the outer walls of the booth.

During one of the last sessions at the IVRPA booth, an introduction to panoramas, held by Ian Wood.

The Solution Center for Computer-Generated Imaging presents the latest in image design technology and offers professional users an introduction to this technology's changing workflow models.

To attract a bigger crowd, the booth included a (non-CGI) car in a light-stage sort-of sphere. It was good to see that my dome was not the only dome that was a bit wonky ;-)

These two visitors of the IVRPA were the last two to experience the dome theater at the booth. After they left, the dome was turned off, and later dismantled. It was not easy to turn off the projection, after all the energy I had put into getting the dome up and running (twice!).
